Take off from Kathmandu’s domestic airport and fly towards the west central part of Nepal to the beautiful Pokhara valley where we land for refuelling. After the short break, take off again towards the mighty Annapurna Range heading towards the Annapurna Sanctuary also known as Annapurna Base Camp. En route land at Ghorepani pass to view the Himalayan Panorama including the world’s Deepest Gorge – the Kali Gandaki raging way down below and the mighty Mount Dhaulagiri world’s 7th highest peak to the west and the mighty Annapurna range to the north.
Manaslu is the highest peak in the Gorkha District and is east of Annapurna. The mountain's long ridges and valley glaciers offer feasible approaches from all directions and culminate in a peak that towers steeply above its surrounding landscape and is a dominant feature when viewed from afar. The snow-capped peaks like Ngadi Chuli, Himala Chuli and Boudha surround the Manaslu and could catch the spectacular view of Mt. Manaslu while exploring the region. Another highlight of the flight is the panoramic view of the Annapurna Range, especially the Fishtail Mountain locally known as “Machhapucchare” which dominates Pokhara’s skyline from every angle.
